When you arrive at the estate, our guides will be delighted to offer you a private guided tour of the various areas of the estate, all of which make Giscours a place brimming with vibrant life all of its own.
On foot or by cart, you will explore behind the scenes of Giscours life and see how our Grand Cru Classé is made on a private guided tour. First of all, we introduce you to the history of the estate and its vineyards, followed by a tour of the vines and Giscours park, then an opportunity to explore the iconic Suzanne farm and its vegetable garden. Next, we explain the process of making our fine wines.
After the tour, you are directed to one of the Château’s private rooms where we invite you for a guided tasting of three of our fine wines, selected by you.
Your immersion in Giscours life continues at La Table de Giscours, where our chef Benjamin Laurent invites you to discover his local, authentic cuisine. This is the Château’s dining room with a breath-taking view of the park, which you can enjoy during a private lunch or dinner combined with a tasting of our wines. Inspired by the produce from our vegetable garden, every day our chef creates menus that combine gastronomic cuisine with local produce to ensure that our guests enjoy an unforgettable experience in an exceptional setting.
Our three guest rooms overlook the vineyards and offer a restful night and a stunning awakening with breathtaking views of our vines.
In the morning, we will serve you breakfast consisting primarily of homemade products: Giscours sourdough bread, jams made from fruit and vegetables from the vegetable garden, fresh eggs from the chicken coop, and more.
Located in the Château’s Old Stables, our guest rooms are just a stone’s throw from the Château and its park, where you can enjoy a walk or a jog in the morning calm, watching the fantastic spectacle of the awakening forest.
Imagine yourself in the great outdoors, near to an expanse of water reflecting the impressive Château Giscours, accompanied by a delicious meal and a bottle of wine… That is what we offer with our picnic in Giscours park. Our chef creates a picnic made just for you with fresh, seasonal produce: colourful salads, mature cheese, charcuterie, fresh fruit slices, and other delights created in our kitchens.
This moment of pastoral peace with a partner or a small group is the perfect way to enjoy a restful weekend, taking advantage of the surrounding nature and its rich ecosystem.
